I’m going to be getting a bigger room soon (addition to the house), while my current room will become a guest room. Does anyone have any good ideas?

I am buying all new furniture, except the bed, and want a modern look - clean, simple, yet sophisticated. Not those lacy, flowery, uncomfortable chairs that don’t fit in anywhere except your grandmother’s apartment in the nursing home. Some people can make that type of thing work - esp. in houses out in the country. Not me, a kid that has grown up in a large town near the capitol of her country, who goes to a huge school of 1200, and still counting. J’aime moderne décor! Je n’adore pas vieux décor….
